What are sub-accounts?
You can set up sub-accounts in your account for individual customers (either resellers or retail), or to manage different categories of domain names.
How do I create a sub-account?
Log in. Hover on "Resellers" and click "Sub-Accounts". Click "Create an Account". Fill in the form and click "submit".
How do my sub-account customers log in?
Sub Accounts can login at IR sites and at EnomCentral.
How do sub-accounts pay for domain names and services?
Reseller sub-accounts pay for purchases from an account balance. Retail sub-accounts pay for each transaction from the credit card they have on file in the account.
What control do I have over sub-accounts?
You can perform almost any action in a retail sub-account.
In reseller sub-accounts, there are actions you can perform only if you log in to the subaccount directly. You can’t perform actions such as purchases and viewing credit card information if you log in from the parent account.
Where can I go to see the domain names in my sub-accounts?
Log in. Hover on "Resellers" and click "Sub-Accounts". In the row of the sub-account you want to view, click "Login". Click "Registered Domains".
Can I move a domain name back and forth between sub-accounts and my main account?
Yes. We use the word "push" to describe the process of moving a domain name from one account to another.
You can push a domain from any account you log into directly, into any other account for which you know the login ID. For a retail sub-account, you can also link from your parent account into the sub-account and push domains.
To push a domain, log in. Hover on "Domains", then on "Bulk Tools", and then click "Push a Domain". Select whether to push the domain’s current contact information with it, type the domain name to push, type the login ID to push to, and click "submit".
How do I convert a retail sub-account to reseller status?
To convert a retail sub-account to reseller status, log in. Hover on "Resellers" and click "Sub-Accounts". Click the name of the retail account you want to convert. Select "Reseller", type the characters in the image, and then click "save changes". Click "OK".
Can I set the pricing for domain names, and other products and services?
Yes, you can edit the price of any domain name, product, or service we offer.
To specify the prices you charge all customers, log in and click "Settings". Click "TLD pricing" or "product pricing" and any of the subtabs. Make any desired changes and click "save changes".
To specify the prices you charge a single sub-account, log in. Hover on "Resellers" and click "Sub-Accounts". Click the name of the sub-account for which you want to set prices. Click "TLD pricing" or "product pricing" and any of the subtabs. Make any desired changes and click "save changes".
How can I see what sub-accounts I have and what prices they are paying?
To see a list of your sub-accounts, log in. Hover on "Resellers" and click "Sub-Accounts".
To see the prices you charge a sub-account, click the name of the sub-account for which you want to see prices. Click "TLD pricing" or "product pricing" and any of the subtabs.
