Keep customers on your site and provide a superior customer experience with an embedded portal. Insert a simple snippet into any page and use a single API call to pass credentials. Users are auto-logged in and never leave your site.
Complete the Setup Wizard
The
setup wizard will take you through the steps for applying your new TLD Widget preferences and appearance.
Grab the snippet
On the last page of the Setup Wizard you will be given a custom snippet to paste between the BODY tags within your website code. We recommend creating a new container page for the snippet. The URL of this page should be what you set for the Return URL in your Settings.
Sample Code
<div id="tldportal-root"></div>
<script src='http://tldportal.com/api/embed?{token}' type="text/javascript"></script>
Call the API command
In your website code, prior to the snippet, you need to call the
Portal_GetToken API command and replace the
{token} placeholder within the snippet. Call this API command and generate a new token with every session.
Paste behind login
The widget requires that the user is logged in. The container page for the snippet needs to be behind login. It should include your standard header and footer and contain nothing else in the content area.
Deliver an enhanced customer experience referring your customers to a branded external site using pass through authentication. Just insert a dynamic hyperlink into any page and use a single API call to pass the credentials. User will not need to login to site separately. View Demo
